I completed my MBBS in 1992 from N.R.S. Medical College, Kolkata, and subsequently obtained my postgraduate degree in General Surgery from IPGME&R, Kolkata, in 1998.
I began my professional career in 1999 with the West Bengal Health Service, serving in various capacities across North Bengal and at Rampurhat Subdivisional Hospital, where I gained extensive clinical experience in general surgery and patient care.
In 2010, I joined Bankura Medical College under the Medical Education Service (MES) as a Resident Medical Officer. Over the years, I progressed through academic ranks, being promoted to Assistant Professor at Burdwan Medical College, where I was actively involved in teaching undergraduate and postgraduate students, as well as in clinical practice.
I was later promoted to the position of Associate Professor and transferred to my hometown, Rampurhat, where I currently serve. Alongside my academic responsibilities, I maintain a dedicated private practice, primarily based in Rampurhat, with a focus on delivering comprehensive surgical care to the community.
With over three decades of experience in surgery, medical education, and public health service, I remain committed to clinical excellence, teaching, and patient-centered care.
